"The Deltas are psychos. You have to be a certified psychopath to join the Delta Force", a US Army colonel from Fort Bragg once told me back in the 1980's. Now President Obama has elevated the most notorious of the psychopaths, General Stanley McChrystal, to head the US and NATO military command in Afghanistan. McChrystal's rise to leadership is marked by his central role in directing special operations teams engaged in extrajudicial assassinations, systematic torture, bombing of civilian communities and search and destroy missions. He is the very embodiment of the brutality and gore that accompanies military-driven empire building. Between September 2003 and August 2008, McChrystal directed the Pentagon's Joint Special Operations (JSO) Command which operates special teams in overseas assassinations. The point of the 'Special Operations' teams (SOT) is that they do not distinguish between civilian and military oppositions, between activists and their sympathizers and the armed resistance. The SOT specialize in establishing death squads and recruiting and training paramilitary forces to terrorize communities, neighborhoods and social movements opposing US client regimes. The SOT's 'counter-terrorism' is terrorism in reverse, focusing on socio-political groups between US proxies and the armed resistance. McChrystal's SOT targeted local and national insurgent leaders in Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan through commando raids and air strikes. During the last 5 years of the Bush-Cheney-Rumsfeld period the SOT were deeply implicated in the torture of political prisoners and suspects. McChrystal was a special favorite of Rumsfeld and Cheney because he was in charge of the 'direct action' forces of the 'Special Missions Units. 'Direct Action' operative are the death-squads and torturers and their only engagement with the local population is to terrorize, and not to propagandize. They engage in 'propaganda of the dead', assassinating local leaders to 'teach' the locals to obey and submit to the occupation. Obama's appointment of McChrystal as head reflects a grave new military escalation of his Afghanistan war in the face of the advance of the resistance throughout the country. The deteriorating position of the US is manifest in the tightening circle around all the roads leading in and out of Afghanistan's capital, Kabul as well as the expansion of Taliban control and influence throughout the Pakistan-Afghanistan border. Obama's inability to recruit new NATO reinforcements means that the White House's only chance to advance its military driven empire is to escalate the number of US troops and to increase the kill ratio among any and all suspected civilians in territories controlled by the Afghan armed resistance. The White House and the Pentagon claim that the appointment of McChrystal was due to the 'complexities' of the situation on the ground and the need for a 'change in strategy'. 'Complexity' is a euphemism for the increased mass opposition to the US, complicating traditional carpet 'bombing and military sweep' operations. The new strategy practiced by McChrystal involves large scale, long term 'special operations' to devastate and kill the local social networks and community leaders, which provide the support system for the armed resistance. Obama's decision to prevent the release of scores of photographs documenting the torture of prisoners by US troops and 'interrogators' (especially under command of the 'Special Forces'), is directly related to his appointment of McChrystal whose 'SOT' forces were highly implicated in widespread torture in Iraq. Equally important, under McChrystal's command the DELTA, SEAL and Special Operations Teams will have a bigger role in the new 'counter-insurgency strategy'. Obama's claim that the publication of these photographs will adversely affect the 'troops' has a particular meaning: The graphic exposure of McChrystal's modus operendi for the past 5 years under President Bush will undermine his effectiveness in carrying out the same operations under Obama. Obama's decision to re-start the secret 'military tribunals' of foreign political prisoners, held at the Guantanamo prison camp, is not merely a replay of the Bush-Cheney policies, which Obama had condemned and vowed to eliminate during his presidential campaign, but part of his larger policy of militarization and coincides with his approval of the major secret police surveillance operations conducted against US citizens. Putting McChrystal in charge of the expanded Afghanistan-Pakistan military operations means putting a notorious practitioner of military terrorism ­ the torture and assassination of opponents to US policy ­ at the center of US foreign policy. Obama's quantitative and qualitative expansion of the US war in South Asia means massive numbers of refugees fleeing the destruction of their farms, homes and villages; tens of thousands of civilian deaths, and eradication of entire communities. All of this will be committed by the Obama Administraton in the quest to 'empty the lake (displace entire populations) to catch the fish (armed insurgents and activists)'. Obama's restoration of all of the most notorious Bush Era policies and the appointment of Bush's most brutal commander is based on his total embrace of the ideology of military-driven empire building. Once one believes (as Obama does) that US power and expansion are based on military conquests and counter-insurgency, all other ideological, diplomatic, moral and economic considerations will be subordinated to militarism. By focusing all resources on successful military conquest, scant attention is paid to the costs borne by the people targeted for conquest or to the US treasury and domestic American economy. This has been clear from the start: In the midst of a major recession/depression with millions of Americans losing their employment and homes, President Obama increased the military budget by 4% - taking it beyond $800 billion dollars. Obama's embrace of militarism is obvious from his decision to expand the Afghan war despite NATO's refusal to commit any more combat troops. It is obvious in his appointment of the most hard-line and notorious Special Forces General from the Bush-Cheney era to head the military command in subduing Afghanistan and the frontier areas of Pakistan. It is just as George Orwell described in Animal Farm: The Democratic Pigs are now pursuing the same brutal, military policies of their predecessors, the Republican Porkers, only now it is in the name of the people and peace. Orwell might paraphrase the policy of President Barack Obama, as 'Bigger and bloodier wars equal peace and justice'.

SECRET SERVICE COMFIRM ASSASINATION ATTEMPT ON OBAMA IN TURKEY

The Secret Service in Washington said Monday night that Turkish National Police arrested the man last Friday in Istanbul. Secret Service spokesman Ed Donovan said the president was never in any immediate danger, as Obama arrived in Turkey on Sunday, two days after the man's arrest.

As standard procedure involving a threat against the president overseas, the Secret Service is following up with Turkish authorities regarding the case and is not releasing any information about the suspect, Donovan said.

On Monday, the Saudi daily Al Watan reportedm that Turkish security services has arrested a man of Syrian descent who was planning to assassinate Obama during his trip to Turkey.

According to the report, the man, who was arrested on Friday, was carrying a press card identifying him as an employee of Al Jazeera. He reportedly confessed to his intention to stab Obama with a knife and said that he was aided by three accomplices.

The report stated that Turkish authorities were still unsure as to whether the press card was a fake or whether it had actually been issued the man by the Qatari news network.

Al-Jazeera's Ankara bureau chief, Yussef al-Sharif, told the paper that news of the suspected assassination plot had come as an utter surprise to the network's staff in Turkey, adding that all of Al-Jazeera's employees in the country claimed that they were not acquainted with the suspect.

Sharif said that the ID card had "most certainly" been forged.

He said that Turkish authorities knew all of the employees of Al-Jazeera's Ankara offices.

Making an appearance on the Morning Joe television show, the Rockefeller globalist Zbigniew Brzezinski said it is high time the rich who have made billions since the days of the Clinton administration help out the poor and struggling masses. Said Brzezinski:

Where is the monied class today? Why aren’t they doing something: the people who made billions, millions. I’m sort of thinking of Paulson, of Rubin. Why don’t they get together, and why don’t they organize a National Solidarity Fund in which they call on all of those who made these extraordinary amounts of money to kick some back in to [a] National Solidarity Fund?

Brzezinski almost looked grandfatherly as he said this (see video). He almost came off as a good-natured humanitarian… almost. It all sounded good, if implausible — that is until Brzezinski reached the end of his carefully crafted diatribe:

And if we don’t get some sort of voluntary National Solidarity Fund, at some point there’ll be such political pressure that Congress will start getting in the act, there’s going to be growing conflict between the classes and if people are unemployed and really hurting, hell, there could be even riots.

In other words, Brzezinski is afraid that if some filthy lucre is not dispensed among the unwashed, they will rise up and burn down the banks, sack the corporations, and destroy the globalist edifice so painfully erected over the last fifty or so years — and maybe even go so far as to string up Brzezinski and his fellow globalists from trees and overpasses, the sort of dirty and regrettable business that invariably occurs in the process of violent revolutions in response to decades of provocation.

It’s not the pain suffered by the unemployed and homeless that concerns Brzezinski and the one-world patricians. It is the prospect of class warfare. It is the horrific prospect of losing it all.

Brzezinski realizes the engineered financial crisis will have dire consequences and he wants to set aside a few crumbs to mollify the growing numbers of impoverished before they take to the streets. It is odd, however, that he mentioned fellow Trilateralist Robert Rubin as one of the people who should be donating to this proposed National Solidarity Fund. No doubt the former Goldman Sachs and Citigroup stooge Rubin had a good laugh over Brzezinski’s preposterous proposal.

If realized, it will be a National Solidarity Fund to save the bankers, not the people. Brzezinski and the global elite understand the last time they pulled this swindle — causing the so-called Great Depression — mass unemployment and bread lines transformed into widespread and popular political activism that seriously threatened the establishment. In response, the “New Deal” was cooked up to dissipate growing rebellion. It took a major world war and subsequently the creation of the military-industrial complex, the national security state, and highly orchestrated cold war to inflate a newly contrived “boom” bubble to get out of the banker engineered Great Depression.

Brzezinski’s National Solidarity Fund is another bankster scam devised to sideline the possibility of rebellion before it gets going. Needless to say, this shabby hustle is wholly insufficient and it will take more than a few billion dollars worth of crumbs from the likes of Hank Paulson and Robert Rubin to prevent the rebellion, class warfare, and violence of the coming storm.

OBAMA TURNS US OVER TO "NEW WORLD ORDER" ON FEBUARY 17TH

Russian reports coming from the G-7 meetings being held in Rome are stating that under pressure from his European Union peers, President Obama has ‘agreed in principal’ to totally surrender the sovereignty of the United States to the New World Order before this year has passed.

News reports coming from the United States are further stating that in his acceptance of his Nations destruction, President Obama, this coming Tuesday, will sign the most important bill in his country’s entire history (and also the most expensive in all of history) at the planned World Headquarters for this New World Order, Denver, Colorado, and not in Washington D.C. as had been expected.

Further evidence of President Obama’s capitulation to the New World Order lies not only in the location he has chosen to open this new, and catastrophic, chapter of his Nation, but also in the date he has chosen to sign this bill overturning all the American people have held sacred, February 17th.

The reason for this being so is that February 17, 2009, falls upon one of the most important Illuminati astrological ‘signs of great changes’ with the conjunction of Mars and Jupiter, and which in its most simplistic sense means “With the conjunction of Mars and Jupiter, you have an abundance of energy and enthusiasm to take on tasks that would frighten all but the most courageous.”

To his choosing of Denver to be the location of his capitulation to the New World Order for his American people, President Obama has plunged his Nation deep into the heart of Illuminati symbolism, and nowhere is this more evident than in the mysterious Denver International Airport [2nd photo left], and of its vast strangeness we can read:

“Even though the area is basically flat (with a stunning view of mountains all around, since it’s in a valley), the expense and time was taken to extensively lower some areas and raise others. They moved 110 million cubic yards of earth around. This is about 1/3rd of the amount of earth they moved when they dug out the Panama Canal.

The airport has a fiber optic communications core made of 5,300 miles of cable. That’s longer than the Nile River. That’s from New York City to Buenos Aires, Argentina. The airport also has 11,365 miles of copper cable communications network.

The fueling system can pump 1,000 gallons of jet fuel per minute through a 28-mile network of pipes. There are six fuel hold tanks that each hold 2.73 million gallons of jet fuel. This is somewhere in the "no one will ever ever need this much" range.

Granite was imported from all over the world - Asia, Africa, Europe, North and South America - and used in making the main terminal floor. This is a ridiculous expense, especially when you’re already over budget. They say, "The floor pattern echoes the roof design and subtly reinforces passenger flows". Ah... subliminal messages to move your ass. It might look pretty but would any of us know Chilean granite from Chinese granite? Or care? You can dye rock if it’s colors you’re after. Cheaper rocks. (I wonder what the "stones have power" people say about this...)

The huge, main terminal is Jeppesen Terminal, named after Elfrey Jeppesen, who was the first person to create maps specifically for aviation (the company is still in business today). This area is known as the "Great Hall"; it’s said this is what the Masons name their meeting place.

It is 900 feet by 210 feet big. This is over 1.5 million square feet of space. All told, there is over 6 million square feet of public space at DIA. The airport brags that they have room to build another terminal and two more concourses and could serve 100 million passengers a year. The airport flew 36 million in 2001.

The only way to get to the other two concourses/terminals from the Great Hall, or vice versa, is via the airport’s train system.

There are more than 19 miles (30 km) of conveyor belt track, luggage transport cars and road in their own underground tunnels that move baggage and goods. They’re so huge you can drive trucks through them, and some remain unused.

The entire roof of DIA is made of 15 acres of Teflon-coated, woven fiber glass. The same material is on the inside as a layer, also. The place looks like a bizarre scene out of "Dune", comprised of huge, spiked tent-like structures. The material reflects 90% of the sunlight and doesn’t conduct heat. So you can’t see into the place with radar or see heat signatures.”

Also to be noticed about this New World Order airport in Denver are its shocking murals [3rd and 4th photos left], also of which we can read:

“An African woman in colorful native garb; a Native American woman who’s heritage the airport’s art supposedly celebrates; a blonde girl with cupid bow lips, a Star of David on her chest and a bible in her hands. Each lay dead in open coffins for your viewing pleasure. A burning city, children sleeping on piles of bricks, a line of mourning women in rags with dead babies, limp in their arms. A huge, looming military figure in a gas mask brandishes a sword and machine gun. Part of an actual note written by a child interred in a Nazi death camp. Strange words embedded in the floor with no explanation about what they mean.”

Further anomalies of this New World Airport are nothing but chilling to comprehend, and include:

“What you don’t see are 8 sub-basements, low- and high- frequency sounds that make people sick, air vents jutting out of the surrounding barren acres of fenced lots that have barbed wire along their tops - pointing in. Whole buildings that were constructed below ground level and then buried as is, the excuse being they were "built wrong". An entire runway constructed, then buried under a layer of dirt and "forgotten". The layers of workers and companies who were fired so no one would have a Big Picture. And workers even reported seeing Aliens working there.”

Also to be noted about this area is that in 2005, the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) relocated the headquarters of its domestic division, which is responsible for operations and recruitment in the United States, from the CIA's Langley headquarters to Denver and that the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has based its much feared International and Domestic Counterterrorism Forces there too.

It is also important to note that the United States Northern Command, recently given new powers to unleash US Military Forces against its own citizens, and the US Space Command are both located less than 100 miles from Denver at Peterson Air Force Base, and which Russian Military Analysts state is the single most defensively protected area on our entire Earth.

Of these new powers granted to the US Northern Command we can also read as reported by the Washington Post News Service in their December 1, 2008, article titled “Pentagon to Detail Troops to Bolster Domestic Security”, and which states:

“The U.S. military expects to have 20,000 uniformed troops inside the United States by 2011 trained to help state and local officials respond to a nuclear terrorist attack or other domestic catastrophe, according to Pentagon officials.

The long-planned shift in the Defense Department's role in homeland security was recently backed with funding and troop commitments after years of prodding by Congress and outside experts, defense analysts said.”

As to why these US Troops are being prepared to be unleashed upon the American people one need look no further than the massive New World Order ‘stimulus’ bill President Obama is set to sign in Denver, and which unknown to virtually all of these poor souls had ‘slipped’ into it, in ink, and just minutes prior to its passing by the US Congress (rendering them unable to read it), a provision titled “Blair Holt’s Firearm Licensing and Record of Sale Act of 2009” and named after a 16-year old honor student in President Obama’s hometown of Chicago who was murdered in May, 2007.

It is no wonder that this new law has been kept secret from the American people by their propaganda media organs as with its coming into law means that every single American owning a firearm will have to possess a US National Firearms Permit [Section 922 of title 18, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end the following]and that all guns in the United States will have to be registered and that no private sales of guns [Section 922 of title 18, United States Code, as amended by section 101 of this Act] between Americans will be allowed, all of which are designed to effectively disarm the entire population of this Nation exactly one year [SEC. 901. EFFECTIVE DATE OF AMENDMENTS.The amendments made by this Act shall take effect 1 year after the date of the enactment of this Act.] upon President Obama’s signing on February 17th.

Most astounding of all about these events are the American people themselves have virtually no knowledge of the New World Order they are becoming a part of, and called for by British Prime Minister Brown (British Prime Minister Gordon Brown says that the current financial crisis should be viewed as an opportunity to create a "new global order", ahead of a week of meetings with world leaders.), French President Sarkozy (Speech given to United Nations), and German Chancellor Merkel (Made in joint statement with Brown and Sarkozy).

But, perhaps nothing captures the true dynamic of these times better than the words of one of the New World Orders main architects, Henry Kissinger as reported by the World Net Daily News Service in their report titled “Kissinger: Obama primed to create 'New World Order', and which says:

“Conflicts across the globe and an international respect for Barack Obama have created the perfect setting for establishment of "a New World Order," according to Henry Kissinger, the Nobel Peace Prize winner and former secretary of state under President Nixon.

Kissinger has long been an integral figure in U.S. foreign policy, holding positions in the Nixon, Ford and Reagan administrations. Author of over a dozen books on foreign policy, Kissinger was also named by President Bush as the chairman of the Sept. 11 investigatory commission.

“The president-elect is coming into office at a moment when there is upheaval in many parts of the world simultaneously," Kissinger responded. “You have India, Pakistan; you have the jihadist movement. So he can't really say there is one problem, that it's the most important one. But he can give new impetus to American foreign policy partly because the reception of him is so extraordinary around the world. His task will be to develop an overall strategy for America in this period when, really, a new world order can be created. It's a great opportunity, it isn't just a crisis.”

The Obamas Have a Rabbi in the Family
Cousin of Candidate’s Wife Leads Synagogue on Chicago’s South Side

While Barack Obama has struggled to capture Jewish votes, it turns out that one of his wife’s cousins is the country’s most prominent black rabbi.

Michelle Obama, wife of the Democratic presidential nominee, is a first cousin once removed of Rabbi Capers Funnye, spiritual leader of a mostly black synagogue on Chicago’s South Side. Funnye’s mother, Verdelle Robinson Funnye, and Michelle Obama’s paternal grandfather, Frasier Robinson Jr., were brother and sister.

Funnye (pronounced fuh-NAY) is the chief rabbi of the Beth Shalom B’nai Zaken Ethiopian Hebrew Congregation in southwest Chicago. He is well known in Jewish circles for acting as a bridge between mainstream Jewry and the much smaller, and largely separate, world of black Jewish congregations, sometimes known as black Hebrews, or Israelites. He has often urged the larger Jewish community to be more accepting of Jews who are not white.

In this presidential campaign, Funnye’s famous relative gives an unexpected twist to the much analyzed relationship between Barack Obama and the Jewish community. On the one hand, Jewish political organizers, voters and donors — including some of the city’s wealthiest and most prominent families — played an essential role in Obama’s rise to power in Chicago. But the Illinois senator has struggled to overcome suspicions in some parts of the Jewish community, including skepticism about his stance on Israel, and discredited but persistent rumors that he is secretly a Muslim.

Funnye, who describes himself as an independent, said he has not been involved with the Obama campaign. He noted, however, that he has donated money and that he was cheering Obama on.

“I know that her grandfather and her father and my mom and all of our relatives that are now deceased would be so very, very proud of both of them,” Funnye told the Forward.

Michelle Obama and the Obama campaign did not respond to requests for comment.

Funnye, 56, has known Michelle Obama (born Michelle Robinson), 44, since she was born. Both grew up on the South Side of Chicago, and Funnye’s mother and Obama’s father enjoyed a close relationship.

“Her father was like the glue of our family,” Funnye said. “He always wanted to keep the family very connected and to stay in touch with each other.” Funnye and Obama saw each other several times a year when they were growing up, mostly at family functions and on occasional visits to each other’s homes. Obama’s mother, Marian Robinson, recalled Funnye and his family coming over for visits and said that he and her children were “as close as cousins could be.”

The two fell out of touch when they grew older, but they reconnected years later when Obama was working for the University of Chicago and Funnye was leading a local social service organization called The Blue Gargoyle. Funnye also worked with Barack Obama, who, as a state senator, came and spoke at events for the organization. When Barack and Michelle Obama married, Funnye and his family attended the wedding. Funnye said that he and the Obamas have not been in touch since the presidential campaign began.

Although Funnye’s congregation describes itself as Ethiopian Hebrew, it is not connected to the Ethiopian Jews, commonly called the Beta Israel, who have immigrated to Israel en masse in recent decades. It is also separate from the Black Hebrews in the Israeli city of Dimona, and from the Hebrew Israelite black supremacist group, whose incendiary street harangues have become familiar spectacles in a number of American cities.

Funnye converted to Judaism and was ordained as a rabbi under the supervision of black Israelite rabbis. He then went through another conversion, supervised by Orthodox and Conservative rabbis. Funnye has worked to connect his own congregation with the rest of Chicago’s Jewish community. He serves on the Chicago Board of Rabbis and is vice president of the Israelite Board of Rabbis, the rabbinical association for black Israelite rabbis.

He has also traveled around the country, encouraging the mostly white Jewish establishment to be more welcoming of non-white Jews around the world. Last July, Funnye attended the installation of Gershom Sizomu, the new chief rabbi of Uganda.

The news of Funnye’s family connection may add a new gloss to the racial complexities of his own work and to those of the current presidential campaign.

“I think it tells us everything we need to know about modern America and modern Judaism that a biracial candidate has been nominated by the Democratic Party and he’s related to an African-American rabbi,” said Gary Tobin, president of the Institute for Jewish & Community Research, which has worked for greater acceptance of Jewish minorities.

Funnye’s relationship with the Obama family was reported in the Chicago Jewish News. Last April, a Wall Street Journal article reported that the aspiring first lady had a cousin (whom the paper mistakenly referred to as a second cousin) who is a prominent black rabbi, but the paper did not mention Funnye by name.

Though a few acquaintances of Funnye and the Obamas said they knew of the connection, the news came as a surprise to most members of the Chicago Jewish community. Neither Funnye nor the Obamas have made a point of mentioning their family ties. In Funnye’s synagogue, however, the rabbi’s link with the Democratic presidential nominee is a matter of common knowledge.

“He really jumped on everyone’s radar after the 2004 convention,” Funnye said. “That’s when some people said, ‘Isn’t he related to you or something?’ I said, ‘Yeah, he’s married to my cousin, and she’s making him everything that he is.’”

OBAMA'S DEFENSE DEPARTMENT APPOINTEE-THE $$3.4 TRILLION $$ QUESTION

Former Raytheon lobbyist, William Lynn, was appointed deputy defense secretary on Wednesday, February 11th after a contentious Senate confirmation hearing that led Republican Senator for Iowa, Charles Grassley, to forcefully object to the appointment on the basis of Mr. Lynn's "very questionable accounting practices that were obviously not in the public interest" while in the position of Pentagon Comptroller during the Clinton administration. The Senator's objection did not go far enough in exploring the "very questionable accounting practices" that Lynn engaged in during his tenure at the Defense Department from 1997 to 2001. The relevant question that should have been asked is "Where did the $3.4 Trillion go?"

In fiscal year 1999, the Department of Defense reported that it was missing $2.3 Trillion. In fiscal year 2000 the Department reported a missing $1.1 Trillion. Total: $3.4 Trillion "missing" taxpayer money. This happened under the watchful eye of the same William Lynn that now passes through the revolving door between the Department of Defense and the Defense industry.

Lynn was the Defense Department's chief financial officer and as such was responsible for all budgetary administration and reporting. He was also responsible for the publication of audited financial statements which he failed to do during his tenure and which have not been published since.

Lynn was nominated by Obama-Biden because "Lynn brings decades of experience and expertise in reforming government spending and making the tough choices necessary to ensure that American tax dollars are spent wisely."

The other appointee, as Undersecretary of Defense (Comptroller), Robert Hale, served as Assistant Secretary of the Air Force in the role of Financial Comptroller from 1994 to 2001. He was also responsible, along with Lynn, for the management of Defense Department funds. Hale is also a Certified Defense Financial Manager with acquisition specialty. This is his particular connection to the Military Industrial Complex.

Between these two appointees, they have lost enough taxpayer money to pay for Obama's Stimulus Plan 4 times over and are now again responsible for overseeing how the Department of Defense manages its appropriations. Obama's promise of fiscal responsibility within his administration can now be dumped in to the already overflowing trash can of broken promises.

WELCOME TO THE ONE WORLD GOVERNMENT

I have never believed that there is a secret United Nations plot to take over the US. I have never seen black helicopters hovering in the sky above Montana. But, for the first time in my life, I think the formation of some sort of world government is plausible.

A “world government” would involve much more than co-operation between nations. It would be an entity with state-like characteristics, backed by a body of laws. The European Union has already set up a continental government for 27 countries, which could be a model. The EU has a supreme court, a currency, thousands of pages of law, a large civil service and the ability to deploy military force.

So could the European model go global? There are three reasons for thinking that it might.

First, it is increasingly clear that the most difficult issues facing national governments are international in nature: there is global warming, a global financial crisis and a “global war on terror”.

Second, it could be done. The transport and communications revolutions have shrunk the world so that, as Geoffrey Blainey, an eminent Australian historian, has written: “For the first time in human history, world government of some sort is now possible.” Mr Blainey foresees an attempt to form a world government at some point in the next two centuries, which is an unusually long time horizon for the average newspaper column.

But – the third point – a change in the political atmosphere suggests that “global governance” could come much sooner than that. The financial crisis and climate change are pushing national governments towards global solutions, even in countries such as China and the US that are traditionally fierce guardians of national sovereignty.

Barack Obama, America’s president-in-waiting, does not share the Bush administration’s disdain for international agreements and treaties. In his book, The Audacity of Hope, he argued that: “When the world’s sole superpower willingly restrains its power and abides by internationally agreed-upon standards of conduct, it sends a message that these are rules worth following.” The importance that Mr Obama attaches to the UN is shown by the fact that he has appointed Susan Rice, one of his closest aides, as America’s ambassador to the UN, and given her a seat in the cabinet.

A taste of the ideas doing the rounds in Obama circles is offered by a recent report from the Managing Global Insecurity project, whose small US advisory group includes John Podesta, the man heading Mr Obama’s transition team and Strobe Talbott, the president of the Brookings Institution, from which Ms Rice has just emerged.

The MGI report argues for the creation of a UN high commissioner for counter-terrorist activity, a legally binding climate-change agreement negotiated under the auspices of the UN and the creation of a 50,000-strong UN peacekeeping force. Once countries had pledged troops to this reserve army, the UN would have first call upon them.

These are the kind of ideas that get people reaching for their rifles in America’s talk-radio heartland. Aware of the political sensitivity of its ideas, the MGI report opts for soothing language. It emphasises the need for American leadership and uses the term, “responsible sovereignty” – when calling for international co-operation – rather than the more radical-sounding phrase favoured in Europe, “shared sovereignty”. It also talks about “global governance” rather than world government.

But some European thinkers think that they recognise what is going on. Jacques Attali, an adviser to President Nicolas Sarkozy of France, argues that: “Global governance is just a euphemism for global government.” As far as he is concerned, some form of global government cannot come too soon. Mr Attali believes that the “core of the international financial crisis is that we have global financial markets and no global rule of law”.

So, it seems, everything is in place. For the first time since homo sapiens began to doodle on cave walls, there is an argument, an opportunity and a means to make serious steps towards a world government.

But let us not get carried away. While it seems feasible that some sort of world government might emerge over the next century, any push for “global governance” in the here and now will be a painful, slow process.

There are good and bad reasons for this. The bad reason is a lack of will and determination on the part of national, political leaders who – while they might like to talk about “a planet in peril” – are ultimately still much more focused on their next election, at home.

But this “problem” also hints at a more welcome reason why making progress on global governance will be slow sledding. Even in the EU – the heartland of law-based international government – the idea remains unpopular. The EU has suffered a series of humiliating defeats in referendums, when plans for “ever closer union” have been referred to the voters. In general, the Union has progressed fastest when far-reaching deals have been agreed by technocrats and politicians – and then pushed through without direct reference to the voters. International governance tends to be effective, only when it is anti-democratic.

The world’s most pressing political problems may indeed be international in nature, but the average citizen’s political identity remains stubbornly local. Until somebody cracks this problem, that plan for world government may have to stay locked away in a safe at the UN.

Barack Hussein Obama, Omar Bradley, Benjamin Franklin and other Semitically Named American Heroes

At Cincinnati, Bill Cunningham, according to the LAT, who "introduced presidential candidate John McCain at a rally here today accused Barack Obama of sympathizing with 'world leaders who want to kill us' and invoked Obama's middle name -- three times calling him 'Barack Hussein Obama.' " John McCain repudiated Cunningham's low tactics and said that using the middle name like that three times was "inappropriate" and would never happen again at one of his rallies.

I want to say something about Barack Hussein Obama's name. It is a name to be proud of. It is an American name. It is a blessed name. It is a heroic name, as heroic and American in its own way as the name of General Omar Nelson Bradley or the name of Benjamin Franklin. And denigrating that name is a form of racial and religious bigotry of the most vile and debased sort. It is a prejudice against names deriving from Semitic languages!



Christian, Western heroes have often been bequeathed Middle Eastern names. Rodrigo Diaz de Vivar, the medieval Spanish hero, carried the name El Cid, from the Arabic al-Sayyid, "the lord."

Barack and Hussein are Semitic words. Americans have been named with Semitic names since the founding of the Republic. Fourteen of our 43 presidents have had Semitic names (see below). And, American English contains many Arabic-derived words that we use every day and without which we would be much impoverished. America is a world civilization with a world heritage, something Cunninghamism will never understand.

Barack is a Semitic word meaning "to bless" as a verb or "blessing" as a noun. In its Hebrew form, barak, it is found all through the Bible. It first occurs in Genesis 1:22: "And God blessed (ḇāreḵə ) them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth."

Here is a list of how many times barak appears in each book of the Bible.

Now let us take the name "Hussein." It is from the Semitic word, hasan, meaning "good" or "handsome." Husayn is the diminutive, affectionate form.

Barack Obama's middle name is in honor of his grandfather, Hussein, a secular resident of Nairobi. Americans may think of Saddam Hussein when they hear the name, but that is like thinking of Stalin when you hear the name Joseph. There have been lots of Husseins in history, from the grandson of the Prophet Muhammad, a hero who touched the historian Gibbon, to King Hussein of Jordan, one of America's most steadfast allies in the 20th century. The author of the beloved American novel, The Kite Runner, is Khaled Hosseini.

But in Obama's case, it is just a reference to his grandfather.

It is worth pointing out that John McCain's adopted daughter, Bridget, is originally from Bangladesh. Since Hussein is a very common name in Bangladesh, it is entirely possible that her birth father or grandfather was named Hussein. McCain certainly has Muslim relatives via adoption in his family. If Muslim relatives are a disqualification from high office in the United States, then McCain himself is in trouble. In fact, since Bridget is upset that George W. Bush doesn't like her "because she is black," and used her to stop the McCain campaign in South Carolina in 2000, you understand why McCain would be especially sensitive to race-baiting of Cunningham's sort. The question is how vigorously he will combat it; he hasn't been above Muslim-taunting in the campaign so far. (And, the McCains really should let Bridget know that she is Asian, not "black." The poor girl; Bush and Rove have done a number on her, and Cindy's confusion can't help.)

The other thing to say about grandfathers named Hussein is that very large numbers of African-Americans probably have an ancestor ten or eleven generations ago with that name, in what is now Mali or Senegal or Nigeria. And, since so many thousands of Arab Muslims were made to convert to Catholicism in Spain after 1501, many Latinos have distant ancestors named Hussein, too. In fact, since there was a lot of Arab-Spanish intermarriage, and since there was subsequent Spanish intermarriage with other European Catholics, more European Americans are descended from a Hussein than they realize. The British royal family is quite forthright about the Arab line in their ancestry going back to Andalusia.

Obama, being a cousin of Dick Cheney on one side and having relatives in Kenya on the other, is just more and more typical of the 21st century United States.

So, anyway, Obama's first two names mean "Blessing, the Good." If we are lucky enough to get him for president, we can only hope that his names are prophetic for us.

Which brings me to Omar Bradley. Omar is an alternative spelling of Umar, i.e. Umar ibn al-Khattab, the second caliph of Sunni Islam. Presumably General Bradley was named for the poet Omar Khayyam, who bore the caliph's name. Omar Khayyam's Rubaiyat, in the "translation" of Edward FitzGerald, became enormously popular in Victorian America.

Gen. Omar Bradley, who bore a Semitic, Muslim first name, and shared it with the second Caliph of Sunni Islam, was the hero of D-Day and Normandy, of the Battle of the Bulge and the Ruhr.



Would Mr. Cunningham see Omar Bradley as un-American, as an enemy because of his name?

What about other American heroes, such as Gen. George Joulwan, former NATO Supreme Allied Commander of Europe? "Joulwan" is an Arabic name. Or there is Gen. John Abizaid, former CENTCOM commander. Abizaid is an Arabic name. Abi means Abu or "father of," and Zaid is a common Arab first name. Is Cunningham good enough to wipe their shoes? Is he going to call them traitors because they have Arabic names?



What about Congressman Darrell Issa of California? ("`Isa" means Jesus in Arabic). Former cabinet secretary Donna Shalala? (Shalala means "waterfall" in Arabic).

I won't go into all the great Americans with Arabic names in sports, entertainment and business, against whom Cunningham would apparently discriminate on that basis. Does he want to take citizenship away from Kareem Abdul Jabbar [meaning "noble the servant of the Mighty"] and Ahmad Jamal [meaning "the most praised, beauty"]? What about Rihanna ["sweet basil," "aromatic"]? Tony Shalhoub [i.e. Mr. Monk]?

Let us take Benjamin Franklin. His first name is from the Hebrew Bin Yamin, the son of the Right (hand), or son of strength, or the son of the South (yamin or right has lots of connotations). The "Bin" means "son of," just as in modern colloquial Arabic. Bin Yamin Franklin is not a dishonorable name because of its Semitic root. By the way, there are lots of Muslims named Bin Yamin.

As for an American president bearing a name derived from a Semitic language, that is hardly unprecedented.

John Adams really only had Semitic names. His first name is from the Hebrew Yochanan, or gift of God, which became Johan and then John. (In German and in medieval English, "y" is represented by "j" but was originally pronounced "y".) Adams is from the biblical Adam, which also just means "human being." In Arabic, one way of saying "human being" is "Bani Adam," the children of men.

Thomas Jefferson's first name is from the Aramaic Tuma, meaning "twin." Aramaic is a Semitic language spoken by Jesus, which is related to Hebrew and Arabic. In Arabic twin is tau'am, so you can see the similarity.

James Madison, James Monroe and James Polk all had a Semitic first name, derived from the Hebrew Ya'aqov or Jacob, which is Ya`qub in Arabic. It became Iacobus in Latin, then was corrupted to Iacomus, and from there became James in English.

Zachary Taylor's first name is from the Hebrew Zachariah, which means "the Lord has remembered."

Abraham Lincoln, of course is, named for the patriarch Abraham, from the Semitic word for father, Ab, and the word for "multitude," raham,. Abu, "father of," is a common element in Arab names today.

So, Mr. Cunningham, Barack Hussein Obama fits right in this list of presidents with Semitic names. In fact, we haven't had one for a while. We are due for another one.

President-elect Barack Obama's paternal grandfather was brutally tortured by the British during Kenya's Mau Mau uprising, according to Obama's Kenyan relatives and reported in the Times of London.

Hussein Onyango Obama, Mr Obama's paternal grandfather, became involved in the Kenyan independence movement while working as a cook for a British army officer after the war. He was arrested in 1949 and jailed for two years in a high-security prison where, according to his family, he was subjected to horrific violence to extract information about the growing insurgency.


"The African warders were instructed by the white soldiers to whip him every morning and evening till he confessed," said Sarah Onyango, Hussein Onyango's third wife, the woman Mr Obama refers to as "Granny Sarah"...."He said they would sometimes squeeze his testicles with parallel metallic rods. They also pierced his nails and buttocks with a sharp pin, with his hands and legs tied together with his head facing down," she said The alleged torture was said to have left Mr Onyango permanently scarred, and bitterly antiBritish. "That was the time we realised that the British were actually not friends but, instead, enemies," Mrs Onyango said. "My husband had worked so diligently for them, only to be arrested and detained."

The Guardian questions how this new information will affect Obama's relationship with the UK and view of interrogation techniques.

Obama, with more pressing contemporary problems on his plate, is unlikely to be fixated on extracting revenge from the UK. But he may draw the broader historical conclusion that the imposition of torture and repressive violence has a habit of undermining the political legitimacy of world-class powers.


He has already signalled his determination to close the Guantanamo Bay detention centre and speed up withdrawal from Iraq. We will have to wait and see whether his grandfather's experience has a bearing on his policies on Afghanistan and international terrorism.

Al-Qaida Number Two Insults Obama With Racial Epithet in Threatening Message

CAIRO, Egypt (AP) - Al-Qaida's No. 2 leader used a racial epithet to insult Barack Obama in a message posted Wednesday, describing the president-elect in demeaning terms that imply he does the bidding of whites.

The message appeared chiefly aimed at persuading Muslims and Arabs that Obama does not represent a change in U.S. policies. Ayman al-Zawahri said in the message, which appeared on militant Web sites, that Obama is "the direct opposite of honorable black Americans" like Malcolm X, the 1960s African-American rights leader.

In al-Qaida's first response to Obama's victory, al-Zawahri also called the president-elect—along with secretaries of state Colin Powell and Condoleezza Rice—"house negroes."

Speaking in Arabic, al-Zawahri uses the term "abeed al-beit," which literally translates as "house slaves." But al-Qaida supplied English subtitles of his speech that included the translation as "house negroes."

The message also includes old footage of speeches by Malcolm X in which he explains the term, saying black slaves who worked in their white masters' house were more servile than those who worked in the fields. Malcolm X used the term to criticize black leaders he accused of not standing up to whites.

In Washington, State Department spokesman Sean McCormack said the latest message was just "more despicable comments from a terrorist."

The 11-minute 23-second video features the audio message by al-Zawahri, who appears only in a still image, along with other images, including one of Obama wearing a Jewish skullcap as he meets with Jewish leaders. In his speech, al-Zawahri refers to a Nov. 5 U.S. airstrike attack in Afghanistan, meaning the video was made after that date.

Al-Zawahri said Obama's election has not changed American policies he said are aimed at oppressing Muslims and others.

"America has put on a new face, but its heart full of hate, mind drowning in greed, and spirit which spreads evil, murder, repression and despotism continue to be the same as always," the deputy of al-Qaida chief Osama bin Laden said.

He said Obama's plan to shift troops to Afghanistan is doomed to failure, because Afghans will resist.

"Be aware that the dogs of Afghanistan have found the flesh of your soldiers to be delicious, so send thousands after thousands to them," he said.

Al-Zawahri did not threaten specific attacks, but warned Obama that he was "facing a Jihadi (holy war) awakening and renaissance which is shaking the pillars of the entire Islamic world; and this is the fact which you and your government and country refuse to recognize and pretend not to see."

He said Obama's victory showed Americans acknowledged that President George W. Bush's policies were a failure and that the result was an "admission of defeat in Iraq."

But Obama's professions of support for Israel during the election campaign "confirmed to the Ummah (Islamic world) that you have chosen a stance of hostility to Islam and Muslims," al-Zawahri said.

America's powerful Jewish lobby is alive, well and kicking. It is likely to become even more influential when President-Elect Barack Obama takes office as the 44th president of the United States in two months time, and Rahm Israel Emanuel ­ the son of a former Zionist terrorist ­ becomes the White House Chief of Staff in Obama's administration.

Emanuel, 51, is the first person named by Obama to become a member of his administration. He has been a Democratic member of the US House of Representatives since 2003, representing Illinois's 5th congressional district, which covers much of the north side of Chicago and parts of suburban Cook County.

Illinois is Obama's home state, from where he was elected to the US Senate in 2006. He is the son of a Kenyan father and a white American mother. He was (allegedly -ed) born in the US State of Hawaii and grew up in Chicago.

Emanuel was chairman of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee for the 2006 mid-term elections, in which the Democratic Party gained control of both the Senate and the House of Representatives. After the Democrats regained control of the House, Emanuel was elected as the next chairman of the Democratic Caucus. He is the fourth-ranking Democrat in the 435-member House, behind Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Majority Leader Steny How and Majority Whip Jin Clyburn.

On November 6, 2008, only two days after Obama was elected president, Emanuel accepted an offer from him to become the White House Chief of Staff in his administration, which begins on January 20th, 2009.

Emanuel is an influential member of the New Democratic Coalition, and a prominent advocate of economic liberalisation. He is noted for his combative style of politics and his political fundraising abilities.

Emanuel was born in Chicago, Illinois. His first name, Rahm, means "high" or 'lofty" in Hebrew, while his surname, Emanuel, means "God is with us." The Jews call themselves "God's chosen people" ­ a description that implies that the Jews believe that non-Jews (i.e. the rest of the world) don't matter. The meaning of Emanuel's surname seems to be of a piece with this reprehensible Jewish belief. Judaism is the only religion in the world that, by implication, denigrates the followers of other faiths in this belittling fashion.

According to Emanuel's father, his son is the namesake of Rahamim, a Lehi group commander who was killed. Rahm's surname was adopted by his family in 1933 after Rahm's paternal uncle, Emanuel Auerbach, was killed in a skirmish with Arabs in Jerusalem.

M Auerbach's death suggests that there is no love lost between Emanuel's family and the beleaguered people of Palestine, who have been at the receiving end of Israeli state terrorism ever since the creation of the Zionist state in 1948.

Emanuel's family background suggests that the long stalled Middle East peace process is not likely to make much headway while he is the White House Chief of Staff in Obama's administration.

This impression is reinforced by the fact that Emanuel ­ an American citizen by birth ­ joined the Israeli army as a volunteer during the 1991 Gulf war between the United States and Iraq. By joining the Israeli army, Emanuel violated a US law which prohibits American citizens from joining the armed forces of another country. Americans who do so can be stripped of their citizenship.

Emanuel's father, Benjamin M. Emanuel, is a pediatrician who was born in Jerusalem. He was a member of the Irgun, a Zionist terrorist group that operated in Palestine from 1931 to 1948 during the British Mandate.

Irgun (Hebrew: shorthand for Halgrun Ha Tzvai Hale'um BeEretz Yisra'el, National Military Organisation in the Land of Israel) was established as a terrorist offshoot of the earlier and larger Zionist paramilitary organisation Haganah (Hebrew: 'The Defence"). For reasons of secrecy, Zionists often referred to the Irgun, during that time, as Haganah Bet (Hebrew: literally "Defence B" or "Second Defence").

During the period 1936-1939, the Irgun carried out 60 attacks against Arab civilians and British soldiers, reflecting its world view that "political violence and terrorism" were "legitimate tools" in the Zionist struggle for the Land of Israel" ­ a state carved out, in 1948, from land where the Palestinians were in the majority, with a population of 900,000 Palestinians versus 600,000 Jews.

If a free and fair referendum had been held at the time to determine the future of the territory, the majority of the population would have voted for the creation of a Palestinian state. Instead, the great powers connived with the Zionists to create the Jewish state of Israel in 1948. The new state promptly proceeded to drive hundreds of thousands of Palestinians from their lands. Israel then illegally transferred the ownership rights of those lands to Jewish settlers who were brought in by the shipload from Europe.

Irgun was described as a terrorist organisation by the New York Times and by the Anglo-American Committee of Enquiry. All told, Irgun attacks against Arab targets resulted in at least 250 Arab deaths during this period.

In an Irgun attack on August 26, 1934, 24 Arab civilians were killed by a bomb at a marketplace at Jaffa. On February 27m 1939, 33 Arab civilians were killed in multiple Irgun attacks, including 24 by a bomb in an Arab market in the Suk Quarter of Haifa and 4 by a bomb in an Arab vegetable market in Jerusalem. On May 24, 1939, 5 Arab civilians were killed by a mine detonated by an Irgun group at the Rex cinema in Jerusalem. On June 19, 1939, 20 Arab civilians were killed by an Irgun hit squad in multiple shootings during a one-hour period.

Two of the most well-known Irgun attacks were the bombing of the King David Hotel in Jerusalem on July 22, 1946 and the Deir Yassin massacre (accomplished together with the Stern gang) on April 9, 1948. Irgun was also responsible for the assassination of the UN representative in Palestine in 1948.

Irgun was a political predecessor to Israel's right-wing Herut (or "Freedom") party, which led to today's Likud party. Likud has led or been part of most Israeli governments since 1977.

Menachem Begin was also a member of Irgun. He was on the British Mandate authorities' list of Irgun terrorists. He was later elected prime minister of Israel.

There has been no mention of any of this aspect of Rahm Israel Emanuel's background in the mainstream US media since he agreed to become the White House Chief of Staff in Obama's administration.

Emanuel went to school in Chicago. He graduated from Sarah Lawrence College in 1981, and went on to receive a master's degree in Speech and Communications from Northwestern University in 1985.

Emanuel is a close friend of fellow Chicagoan David Axelrod, chief strategist for the 2008 Barack Obama presidential campaign. Axelrod signed the ketubaa Jewish marriage contract at Emanuel's wedding to Amy Rule. Emanuel and his wife are members of Anshe Sholom B'nai Israel, a Modern Orthodox Jewish congregation in Chicago,

Emanuel has said of his Judaism: "I am proud of my heritage" That heritage, presumably, includes his father's stint as a member of the Irgun.

Bill Clinton's most serious primary rival in the 1992 presidential election campaign, Paul Tsongas (the New Hampshire Democratic primary winner in 1992) later withdrew, citing a lack of campaign funds.

Richard Mintz, a Washington public relations consultant who worked with Emanuel on the Clinton campaign says: "It was that (extra) million dollars (raised by Emanuel) that really allowed the campaign to ride out in New Hampshire (over Clinton's relationship with Gennifer Flowers and the controversy over his draft status during the Vietnam War."

Emanuel's rapport with potential donors within the Jewish community helped Clinton amass a then unheard of campaign fund sum of $ 72 million.

According to a report published in the London Economist after the 1992 election, 60 per cent of all private contributions to Clinton's campaign fund came from American Jews.

Following the campaign, Emanuel became a senior adviser to Clinton at the White House in 1993 to 1998. In the White House, Emanuel was initially Assistant to the President for Political Affairs and then Senior Adviser to the President for Policy and Strategy.

According to an American commentator, one of Emanuel's "proudest moments" during the Clinton administration "was an event that touched his political sensibilities and his personal ties to Israel: the 1993 Rose Garden signing ceremony after the Oslo Accords between Israel and the Palestine Liberation Organisation (PLO). Emanuel directed the details of the ceremony, down to the choreography of the handshake between Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin and PLO leader Yasser Arafat. Hamas, a militant Palestinian organisation, said that Arafat had "sold out" to the Americans.

RAHM "RAHMBO" EMANUEL EXPOSED

"Heaven, in its Judgment, has cursed us, the common people of America, with a traitor-infested central government, with an evil and fraudulent banking system, with a mendacious press, and with a venal and corrupt judiciary condoned by rapacious and cowardly lawyers. Thus, some say our Constitution is deservedly dead since, in our name, innocent folk on foreign shores are butchered and bombed. The late Sherman Skolnick proved himself over the years to be one of the most astute and accurate American investigator journalists. As the main pillar of American journalism, he simply did not have any match. Rahm Emanuel - Activities And Associations

"Rahm Emanuel - Top reputed black-mailer, extortionist, and arm-twister for the Clinton White House. About 1991, moved from the Chicago-area, to Arkansas to help conduct Clinton's presidential campaign. Raised funds reportedly by knowing secret workings of major covert operations of the American CIA. Such as: HOUSEHOLD INTERNATIONAL and HOUSEHOLD BANK, headquartered in Chicago, successor to CIA's proprietary dope and assassination funding operation, NUGAN HAND BANK.

General counsel of Nugan Hand as well as Household was former Director of Central Intelligence William Colby (murdered because he knew too much about Rahm Emanuel, the Mossad, and Clinton). Rahm Emanuel latched onto a 50 million dollar portion of federal funds parked with Household to cover the pending claims of Chicago-area caulking contractor, Joseph Andreuccetti, who claimed various Chicago-area banks were implicated, with top corrupt IRS officials, in stealing millions of dollars of properties and monies belonging to Andreuccetti.

Rahm Emanuel grabbed a portion of the parked funds to jump-start Clinton's 1992 campaign. Other portions of the funds were secretly transferred from Chicago to Little Rock to try to cover up an embezzlement of Madison Guaranty S & L for which Bill and Hillary Clinton were subject to being prosecuted on federal bank misappropriation criminal charges. Emanuel is reportedly a double-dealer, purporting to act for the Mossad at the same time acting against.

Emanuel is reportedly chief arranger of Red Chinese and other illicit funds massively flowing through the Chicago markets, disguised as soybean trading, foreign currency dealings, and such, on the Chicago Board of Trade, the Chicago Mercentile Exchange, and the Chicago Board Options Exchange. Currently Rahm plays a key role with Wasserstein & Perella, New York-based alleged investment firm apparently fronting for various Red Chinese interests in U.S."

THE DEADLIEST SERPENT IN OFFICE

Barack Obama's first appointment to his administration, of Rahm Emanuel, is someone that has been described as having a political history of 'family violence.'

"What truly makes Emanuel dangerous is that his Israeli-born father Benjamin was an integral member of the Zionist terror group known as Irgun during the 1940s. Along with another notorious terror outfit-the Stern Gang-Irgun bombed Jerusalem's King David Hotel in 1946 where 96 people were killed; while also instigating the 1948 Deir Yassin Massacre.

Rahm Emanuel is the son of a terrorist who directly plotted the assassination of Count Bernadotte, a Swedish diplomat and United Nations envoy who tried to broker peace in Palestine. But Irgun didn't seek treaties. It instead sought racial cleansing and genocide. According to Elisabeth Bumiller in The New York Times, Benjamin Emanuel passed secret codes to Shin Bet bomber and future Prime Minister Menachem Begin. These very same Jewish terrorists eventually became the recognized Israeli government in 1948, as well as predecessors to Benjamin Netanyahu's right-wing Likud Party." (1)

What is now particularly dangerous is that Benjamin Netanyahu is again in-line to become the next Prime Minister of Israel, which will expand what Rahm will need to do in his capacity at the White House for his actual home-land.

"Polls in fall 2008 showed that, in the wake of Prime Minister Ehud Olmert's resignation and Defense Minister Tzipi Livni's failure to form a government, Mr. Netanyahu and his party were likely to win the Israeli elections set for early next year, and that Mr. Netanyahu would be the next prime minister.

Ethan Bronner of The Times wrote in September 2008 that because of Mr. Netanyahu's hawkish stance, those in Israel who favor compromise and negotiation with the Palestinians are deeply worried at the prospect of Mr. Netanyahu's returning to power.

Born Oct. 21, 1949 in Tel Aviv, Mr. Netanyahu was partly educated in the United States and once tried an Americanized name, Ben Nitay. But he is Israeli to the core - a native "sabra" reared on militant Zionism, honed in an elite commando unit and wary of ever giving an inch to his enemies, whether politicians or Arabs.

His heroes are his father, the historian Benzion Netanyahu, an ardent follower of a right-wing school of Zionism that held as early as 1925 that the Jewish claim to the entire Land of Israel was unquestionable and nonnegotiable, and his brother, Yonatan Netanyahu, whose death leading the commando raid to free Jewish hostages at Entebbe in 1976 turned him into an Israeli legend." To understand who Rahm Emanuel is requires a lot more of those seeking that knowledge than simply looking at all the normal parts of a resume.

To get a final idea of what we're dealing with, consider this quote from U.S. war journalist Pat Dollard:

"Let me tell you right now, no exaggeration. Rahm Emanuel is the devil. He is . . . a Goebbels, a Mengele, a perfect Cromwell who would, without the faintest evidence of hesitation washing across his face for even a millisecond, order and even personally execute each and every human being he or Obama perceived to be an enemy of the regime. And if you ever personally offended him, and he had the opportunity to kill you, he would probably do it by starting with your children as you were made to watch. He is a bad guy."

And this...

"Some researchers have gone so far as to claim that Emanuel was the notorious 'Mega' spy deep inside the Clinton administration who passed top-secret documents about Iran on to the Israeli government, causing a great deal of chaos among the various intelligence agencies. Be very wary of this man. Like the "Prince of Darkness" Richard Perle and Michael Chertoff before him (both of whom hold dual U.S.-Israeli citizenships), it may well be proven that his loyalties rest more with a fabricated little state in the Middle East than they do with us." Many will say that this 'take' on Obama's new Chief of Staff is extreme, or 'nothing particularly unusual' given that "all president's surround themselves with people of their own choosing ­ and some of those choices have always been a bit suspicious." Except that this is the first time a president has been selected to take the office that now comes with total control over all other branches of the government. And this 'transition' will be taking place during a "time of war" when the primary enemy, in this war, has become the law-abiding people of the United States. This is not a good time to have a 'Svengali' in the position of White House Chief of Staff.

In addition to the super-powers that Bush obtained for the office and that shall be passed directly to Obama when he is crowned on January twentieth; there is also the fact that all the major laws directly affecting everything to do with life & death tend to come to us via Executive Orders, rather than by the more arduous constitutional method that would require the involvement of the congress. Ergo with a Rahmbo in-place this could well mean anything and everything regarding the preferences of Emanuel might not only become possible-but would very likely happen, without fanfare, whether the actions taken were public or privately accomplished.

Obama's "presidency" has not gotten off to a 'great start' as he has already begun to break a great many of his campaign promises, while at the same time over-achieving in his appointment of Rahm Emanuel as White House Chief of Staff; a decision that causes many to wonder which nation will get first preference from the White House: Will it be the country that Barack supposedly represents, or the one he swore allegiance to before the AIPAC convention in Washington D C? For the true dangers inherent in this policy, we have only to look at what went on in the inner-circle of Hitler's government before his meteoric rise to power-unlimited. When there is nothing in the ruling House of a nation but lies built upon broken-promises; then whatever dictates emanate from such a House cannot bode well for the people over whom that House has been given total control. With Rahm Emanuel at the elbow of the "helm" the American people and the world may well be in for some very bloody and very unpleasant surprises of the "Un-American kind."
